Juventus players celebrate after a 2-0 win over Olympiakos
Juventus were among the sides to secure their place in the last 16 of the Champions League on a busy Tuesday of action.

On a night when Sporting Lisbon might have deprived them of second spot in Group D, last season's finalists ensured

there would be no slip-ups with a 2-0 win over Olympiakos in Greece and fourth successive clean sheet.

Juan Cuadrado settled any Italian nerves after 15 minutes and substitute Federico Bernardeschi sealed matters with a fine strike a minute from time.

Wojciech Szczesny - deputising for the injured Gianluigi Buffon - made a fine save near half-time to thwart Uros Djurdjevic and

El Fardou Ben Nabouhane struck the crossbar late on for Olympiakos.

But those were rare moments of worry as Juventus controlled the contest and Sporting, in the end, were beaten 2-0 in Barcelona.

Ernesto Valverde started Lionel Messi on the bench but his side top Group D, thanks to Paco Alcacer's 59th-minute header and a stoppage-time own goal from Jeremy Mathieu.

Marcus Rashford ensured Manchester United progressed to the last 16 of the Champions League as group winners as they came from behind to see off CSKA Moscow 2-1.

Despite dominating the first half, United fell behind on the stroke of half-time when Mario Fernandes crossed for Santos Vitinho to fire in a shot which clipped

Alan Dzagoev as it flew into the net sbobet222 with off-field Daley Blind playing him onside.
